Adv. Hocherman is a member of the firm’s professional team specializing in higher education law and intellectual property law. Adv. Hocherman provides ongoing legal counseling to the firm’s public and private clients in the areas of intellectual property law and higher education law, including drafting international academic agreements, among them academic cooperation agreements, donation agreements, grant agreements and research agreements.

In addition Adv. Hocherman specializes in copyright and trademark law. She represented the academic institutions in discussions before the Parliamentary Economics Committee in preparation for enactment of the Copyright Law, 2007. She has also lectured at various forums on copyright issues in academia.

Adv. Hocherman holds a doctoral degree (D.Sc) in civil engineering, and was a senior research fellow at the Transportation Research Institute in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
